Vayo Companion Tools

When you complete a tool in Vayo Companion, we save your responses and the generated result. This includes:

  • The inputs you entered (room size, symptoms, purifier details, and similar fields)
  • The result text generated for you
  • The approximate time the tool was started and completed
  • A randomly generated session identifier (not linked to your identity)

We do not collect your name, email, your location coordinates, or any identifying information through the tools. Tool response data is used to understand how people use Vayo Companion, which tools are most useful, and where guidance may need to be improved. This data informs future tool development and Vayo product decisions.

We do not sell this data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Contact form

The data collected through contact form or the "Ask directly" form on Vayo Companion are not shared with any third part for the purpose of promotion.

Data retention

Tool response data is retained as long as it is useful for improving Vayo Companion. Contact form submissions are retained in our email inbox until no longer relevant.

  • Cloudflare D1 — stores tool response data
  • Formspree — processes contact form submissions
  • OpenAQ — provides outdoor air quality data when location permission is granted
